Why can't I set up alerts?

If you're having problems setting up alerts it may be due to one of the following:

  • No email and/or mobile recorded - You must provide us with either a valid email address or a valid 07 mobile number registered with a UK Channel Islands or Isle of Man mobile phone provider so we can send the alerts to you.
  • Alert type - Some alerts can only be set up once you have opted to turn off paper statements.
  • No eligible accounts - Only personal current and most savings accounts are eligible.

When you manage your alerts from the 'Alerts' section within Online banking only accounts that can support the alerts service will be shown.

If the problem you're experiencing is not related to the reasons mentioned please call telephone banking.
