Switch your account to us

The Current Account Switch Service makes switching from one bank or building society to another simple and stress-free. You can choose a switch date to suit you, just make sure you allow a minimum of 7 working days.

This service is only available to switch current account products. Any other products you have with your old bank will not be moved at the same time.

  1. Log in to Online Banking, using your customer number or 16 digit card number. Then enter your Online Banking pin and password. 
  2. Choose 'Current accounts' (it's under 'Our products', bottom right).
  3. You'll return to our current account page. 
  4. Choose 'More about Gold account', under 'Gold account'.
  5. Choose 'Apply for a Gold account'. 
  6. Choose 'Continue' under 'Let's get started'.
