Dealing with financial difficulties

Here to support you when you need it most

Caring for a vulnerable person

If you're caring for a vulnerable person, you're most likely dealing with their financial affairs too. A Power of Attorney allows someone to appoint a person or organisation to manage their affairs if they become unable to do so.

In order to grant a Power of Attorney, it needs to be arranged while the grantor is still capable of making their own decisions. It also needs to be registered with us.

Dealing with bereavement

We know that coping with bereavement isn't easy and sorting out the financial affairs of someone you love can make it seem harder. We're here to help make things as easy as possible for you.

Struggling financially

We understand that sometimes people struggle financially. Bills can pile up and it’s difficult to make ends meet.

If you're worried about paying money back, your debt feels like a huge burden because you're spending more than you earn, you're struggling to pay your bills or several of your cards are at their credit limit then it's time to ask for help.

Dealing with financial abuse

Financial abuse can take a variety of forms within different relationships; including partners, family members or carers. It might be financial control, exploitation or sabotage. Financial abuse could happen to anyone.

There are ways we can help you, and the most important thing is that you talk to someone. There's always help available to you.

Dealing with separation or divorce

We are here to offer help and support when you`re going through a difficult break up and need some practical guidance with your finances.
