How do I return an item that I bought using Google Pay™ in a store?
When you return an item you bought using Google Pay in store, you will be asked to carry out the following:
- Make sure your default card is the same one used to make the purchase. To check, tap the default card at the top of your wallet, scroll down to 'Virtual account number' and verify it matches the last four characters of the virtual account number on the receipt.
- Place your Android device near to the contactless terminal to receive the refund.
Some retailers may ask you to use your plastic card to receive the refund. Just in case, take your plastic.
