What is a direct debit indemnity?
A Direct Debit indemnity is a way of claiming back unauthorised payments when a company has taken:
- a payment earlier than the agreed date
- an incorrect amount
- a payment in error
You can also use the indemnity if you've not given advanced notice of a change to the amount or payment date.
